Who We Are

What We Collect

We keep our data collection deliberately narrow. The categories are:

• Server access logs: IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, timestamp. Retained 30 days for operational diagnostics.
• Analytics: aggregated page-view data via privacy-respecting analytics. No individual tracking, no cross-site profiles.
• Email correspondence: if you email us, the message and your reply thread are retained for two years.
• Affiliate click metadata: when you click an outbound casino link, the receiving casino's affiliate tracker records a generic referral. We do not receive or store that click-level data ourselves.

We do not run user accounts. We do not sell data. We do not share email addresses with third parties.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies of its own. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, uses a single security cookie (cf_clearance) for DDoS protection. Outbound affiliate links may set their own cookies at the destination; those are governed by the destination casino's privacy policy.

Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ) and GDPR (where applicable), you can:

• Request a copy of any personal data we hold on you
• Ask for corrections to inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your correspondence from our records
• Object to processing for direct-marketing purposes (we do no direct marketing regardless)

Email hello@matawaicamp.co.nz with the nature of your request. We respond within 20 working days as required by the Privacy Act.

Data Security

The site runs over HTTPS on Cloudflare Pages. Email correspondence is held on a reputable NZ-based mail provider with encrypted at-rest storage. We do not retain payment data of any kind; all deposits occur directly between you and the casino you sign up with.

Third Parties

Affiliate networks (the operators of the casinos we link to, and their tracking partners) receive a referral notification when you click through. They are the data controllers for any account you create with them. Consult their privacy policies at sign-up.

Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be published on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Non-material edits (typo fixes, formatting) happen without notice.
